Dear Journal,
I think I made an impression. After I told him everything I felt about the club, he was taken aback at first. When I reasoned that he could do so much better, he really seemed to take it at heart. His apology was genuine. Though he expressed loneliness about the job and living situation we are in. So I promised him that he can always talk to me. I also assured that I have respect for his talents and work ethic. He tried to downplay it, but the smile on his face was proof enough. We spent the rest of the day playing video games and talking about our pasts. It’s a good thing too because I was expecting push back.
