We return to the world of the ancient Aurans in this beautiful piece by Terrie Smith. On the right, we see the fennec fox couple Silara and Khalil. Next to them, two friends from Khalil's travels to the continent of Wesha'nii: Rael the stallion and Maia the rabbit. Longtime watchers may recognize Maia as one of many cross-world cameos of my lop-eared bunny girl Melon. Yes, Orchid was also based off her! And likewise, Rael is based off Remy in the same way Halcyon is in New Atlantis.
I was so excited to receive another piece of art of these characters beautifully rendered by Terrie, and I admire how she differentiated their outfit styles to show they're from two different regions. While Khalil and Maia have known each other for years prior to this (he's a traveling diplomat, so they've met on many occasions), this would be their respective introductions to Rael and Siliara, and it seems they've all hit it off wonderfully together.
