Oh god I hate closeups on insects so bad Dx
I saw this moth on my desk and he/she/it was staying rather still :P
Again, I messed with the lens and took it off the camera and flipped it back to front... SUDDENLY UBER DETAILED MOTH EYEBALL!
This shit gives me the fuckin chills... I HATE seeing insects so close Dx... Hence this one was barely edited in photoshop xD
Sorry for such a crappy focus... botch jobbing it with the lens seems to do that ;)

You say to the wolfy who has an inexpensive Olympus that doesn't even have interchangable lenses.
It just has a mode that allows extremely close focus (within 2 inches in tests). The differing modes are presumably so you can tell what range it should try to focus in, so it doesn't go from 2 inches to infinity to try to close a focus lock and cost you a picture.

I got the Stylus Tough 6020 for US$260, but I had a ton of gift cards that brought my out of pocket expense down to $116.
And yes, it lives up to its name. Drop-proof, crush-proof, WATER-proof, this is the first camera I've ever seen that actually tells you to WASH IT in the INSTRUCTIONS.
Has the focus range from HELL, as described above, and goes to 5x optical zoom (I don't play with digital zoom). Has an interesting "fine zoom" feature, where if you have it set to a resolution less than the 14MP it supports, you can use your extra unused MP as a lossless digital zoom. <3

My Stretching Husky picture was a serious potshot. I pulled over whil ehe was standing there, and pulled out the camera. Impatiently thought, "He's going to ruin it while the camera's powering up." As I aim and take the shot, he starts laying down, letting me capture a BEAUTIFUL shot.
