So, me and sleep have not been getting along very well for the last couple of days. This is something that's bound to happen from time to time when you have nothing at all to hold you to a sleep pattern. It drifts around all over the place, for me getting later and later, until something wakes me up after little sleep, and then I fall asleep later in the day, and bam, sleep pattern cut in half. And then it just falls apart until I don't have a designated sleep pattern.
That's where I am right now. I've so far gotten 3 hours of sleep at night, followed by 1 some time later and 2 a few hours after that. No worries though, I don't have any kind of actual sleep troubles, I normally sleep just fine, I just get rattled out of my pattern sometimes and it takes a few days to get back into place.
My point in all this is, excessive sleep loss + commission work = bad idea. So I've instead been just relaxing and watching videos and stuff today. I decided to watch todays episode of Extra Credits over on the escapistmagazine website, and the artist drew this little fluffy raptory thing as a personification of microtransactions. It... makes sense if you watch it.
Anyway, I thought it was CUTE. So I wanted to draw a fluffy raptory thingy of my own. And then I did! So this is what I've been doing instead of working because if I try working right now it'll probably end up looking like instead of painting the pictues normally I decided to drink the paint and puke it back up onto the picture and call it done.
So yeah, I like him. I might have to draw him again sometime.

Big eyes make everything cuter. x3 Thanks. It'll be fine, this happens once every couple of months but after a few days it settles back to regularity. That's the price I pay for going to bed at 9 am, I guess. xD
It would be interesting to get to draw something like this in a commission I have to admit. Out of curiosity, and purely hypothetically so no pressure, what would it be about if you did?

Since I don't have a job or hobby to wake up for, my sleep pattern just slowly drifts forward... if I have trouble falling asleep one night, it jumps forward a lot. Before long I'm getting up at sundown xD Occasionally what'll happen is I'll get woken up by the daywalkers in the house and not be able to fall back asleep several hours later, and then that really messes up a sleep pattern.
So at the moment I'm honestly not sure when bedtime is and how long it'll last, but sooner or later it'll settle back out. I usually sleep extremely well, so the occasional hiccup is no big deal. :P
