Yay! More Quetzalcoatlus. Only two more pages to go!
Folks, can I take a minute to talk about this comic and this page? I was not sure where this was going to go when I started it but at this point I have to say that if nothing on this page does it for you, you should probably find someone else to watch cause this is some of the coolest stuff I've done in comics.
It's got anthro characters, their superheroes, they're fighting giant, monster dinosaurs while riding on clouds and flying through the city and their getting blown away from their attacks and their so damn surprised at this situation that they're pointing at the sky and cursing in shock. It's all I got, y'know?
I'd like to look at each panel for a bit.
Panel 1 - First time Virgo uses her forcefield powers to save other members of the team. I thought a bit about how to draw this but I think this works.
Panel 2 - I've never drawn all of team earth flying at once before. I rarely drawn them flying and I'm glad I did cause we get to see their different styles. Taurus is like superman with arms in front. Virgo is more like Iron Man with her arms behind her and Cap has her limbs underneath since she actually has to flap her wings for lift. I thought that was neat.
Panel 3 - Team air really have it going on. Can you tell they are using the cloud for transport again? I hope so.
Panel 4 & 5 - Aqua's getting a lot of practice with her surprise face lately between this and the regular comic. I also get a chance to use Libra for his intended purpose, comedic relief.
Panel 6 - So much about this panel gives me joy. One, I get to show Pisces using his powers which I haven't had much of a chance to yet. Also, Aries and the Triceratop's face are killing me.
Panel 7 - This was just kinda fun to draw until I put some of the more serious characters being blown away. That put it over the top.

Let me just say, this comic has gone way beyond my wildest expectations, and if I ever get the resources again I've got more wrist-cramping ideas in mind...
1. I hope I haven't foiled any plans you had to reveal power usage in your regular comic have I?
2. Love Virgos wings. Never knew Taurus's eyes glowed like that while using her powers. Is that something new, or am I just not remembering?
3-6. wake turbulence is one hell of a power.
7. Your'e right, those are the types of faces you think back on, and laugh, then think back again, and laugh some more... . Love the foreshortening of arm and body on Aries in this one.
8. Massive win for the comic. Massive fail for Zodiac.

This...could cause some complications with the plan. There's a reason Jenna made a beeline for the warehouse at top speed, and I have the feeling that it's not spectre's doing, at least not entirely, not after that "leave me alone" demand after she changed. You've certainly got me wondering how this will hand, a feat I've got to give you props for. Much to my own annoyance, I've often figured out things by now so that it's not really a surprise. You keep me guessing, which has me loving your stories.
The only character missing from this page is Cancer. I wonder if that means anything, as he's not among those tossed into the air by the impact.
As for Team Earth, the different flying techniques look quite natural. Taurus doesn't surprise me in assuming the Superman pose, given the nature of her powers. Libra flys more like a jet, looking more aerodynamic. Capricorn, as said, is the only one that flys by natural means, and the crossed arms looks right for proper utilization of her back and shoulder muscles for her wings. Also, can't say that I've noticed how Taurus' eyes glow blue when she's using her powers.
