Here's Jun and it seems he is carrying a weapon which is a hand-held plasma cannon. He crafted it when the outbreak begin when something strange have a happened. It wasn't just caused by one of his members, but also by a octopus (that was driven by fear.)

Behind him is a strange spider-like blob monster looking like it's going to claim it's victim. A there's a puddle of goo (which Jun dodged) when can also mutate and take affect on victims similar how it does in Globs of Doom.
