"I remember one lava plateau in the Hennor Mountains. Old and unremarkable in appearance. We went there for a short practical training in the first years of study. The work was easy - to describe the relief, vegetation and soils. We swarmed there all day until we started to descend in the evening. And the teachers took us along a different route. There were many interesting things there, since erosion had eaten away at that area. But the blue crystals were the most memorable. Just in the middle of everything. In the soft light of the sunset they seemed even more pretentious and out of place. We stood there in a frenzy for several minutes, while the teachers enjoyed our reaction. It was magical. It was the first time I saw crystals in real life, and especially in a place where they should not have been. But no, it turned out that they were there."
