A TV flickers on in Thunderstorm. Static covering the screen. Reports of missing persons show on screen, missing reports in Subway, Portland, Incinerator, Baseplate2021. ‘Click’ the channel changes to Thunderstorm’s news station.
“It’s only been three…” The doge stops the speech over a specific word. “Hours…” they say that and eye their door to the bathroom, the only place with a mirror in this building. They keep staring at the door silently, picking back up the fire axe they used earlier.
A trap was set, in case that thing did somehow come back from mere references of its name. A cross was placed directly in front of the door, able to stun it if it did… but nothing came through, as the bathroom was silent.
“It’s only been that long since I gave it to them… god…” they put their hand on their head, the memory of all that death from that thing coming back, even with how recent it was. “It’s an urgent message… why haven’t they finished editing it yet..?”
The TV quits with the ad for cheap arson. The standard Thunderstorm news information PNG’s start appearing. First showing that devil with its satanic elixir in its grasp. A man’s voice could be heard.
“Hello. Today new information on the 10 hour burst man has surfaced.” The reporter says, the doge glances over at that door once again. “Told them not to say the name…” they growl under their breath.
“A camera has been found in a park not too far away from Thunderstorm.” The reporter continues, with the TV now showing a poorly cropped camera overtop of a forest picture. The doge scoffs. “Nice way to anonymize it.”
“The footage shows an unknown amount of people trying to hunt down the 10 hour burst man.” Three archer PNG’s appear aiming at the picture of the demon from before. The doge keeps eyeing the door. “It was fourteen people.” They say without breaking eye contact with the door.
“It appears like the 10 hour burst man likes to hide within the shadows, so if you’re ever in the event of a 10 burst man attack, avoid walking into darker areas.” The dogs eyes don’t look at the TV, transfixed on the bathrooms door. “That’s four…” They mumble, reaching for the fire axe as they standdirectly facing the door.
Their heart was pounding.

Nothing. Nothing was hit. A relief. “Good…” They huffed, looking back at the TV now.
“Viewers discretion is heavily advised, as many will find the following recording to be disturbing.” “Damn right.” The doge snaps their fingers at it, the sound of a death note going off could be heard in one of the neighbouring houses.
“The following footage has been provided.”
The TV shows static, cutting to the video. It opens with someone screaming “NOOOOOOO!” As other people could be heard chanting “10HBM!” The footage aiming down at the ground, the cobblestone ground being dimly lit.
The screaming voice before gets shown, some person in a full suit, with their face blacked out. “THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE, WHY DIDN’T YOU VOTE TDM!” The person behind the camera answers, “Well it’s new what do you expect?”
“BUT IT’S LITERALLY SO HAR-“ “Silence.” A doge comes up from the side. “W0W, they got a good shot of me there heh.” The doges instincts of W0W kick in as they see themselves. The doge came into view of the camera. The same black box appeared over their face, despite them being obviously a doge by their visible fur.
“You need to listen for this… daemon.” In the background, it could vaguely be seen that they had a crossbow on their back, a cross necklace around their neck, and nothing as a visible melee weapon.
“Whatever man!” The complaining person said, as more people funneled in, the street lights turning off behind them as they walked forward. “Come, quickly the lights are going off!” The doge says in a frenzied voice.
“What, it’s not like I’m gonna do much anything to it.” The suit person said, one single lamp illuminating them. “SERIOUSLY GET OVER HERE NOW!” The doge yell. “Hmmm no. I actually think I’m gonna enjoy this nice spong-“ ‘brrzt’
The lamp above them goes out as they took out a SpongeBob popsicle, their popsicle falling to the ground, as the darkness instantly silenced them. “Woah!” The person behind the camera says. “DAMN IT!” The doge curses to themselves. ‘Brzzt brrrz’ The light flickers more, and the popsicle disappears as it turns back on.
“Enough toying around.” They growl, taking off their cross necklace and holding it up to the sky. “Reveal thyself, daemon.”
EUGH
EHEHAHEHEAHAHAHAHAA
The devilish laughter rings out, any chatter from anyone else silencing. “Holy crap!” Was the only voice heard after a solid three seconds, coming from behind the camera. The doge was clearly on edge. Ears twitching as did their nose, trying to pick up on anything from that devil.
They stopped moving… “Judgement, NOW!” They yelled at another dog, paler one with its tongue out. They put away their cane and pulled out the scale, raising it up high as the judgement weighed in. The sins of the demon would be incredible for sure.
The scale tilts.
‘Ding!’
‘SHEOOTH!’
The dogs head went missing as a blur of darkness went past, before their body separated into black blocks. A gasp is heard from someone off camera.
“Wait we had judgement? Duuude, we could’ve birded u-“ The camera pans over to the person talking, only capturing a few frames of them before a yellow light of many eyes comes crashing down over top their skull, crushing them into the pavement.
The person behind them holding a lamp gets knocked off their feet from the roar of the twilight.
‘PRUNE JUICE’
The person wearily pushes against the ground, their head touching the barrel of a mad noobs shotgun.
‘peephew’
An arrow flies directly towards them, right as the lamps wielders head is blown off by the shotgun. The arrow sticks into something in the darkness. The glints of the tip and the quills shining and shifting as the thing moved. The shotgun aims at the crowd, bullets pinging off the ground as three more rounds are fired.
“FIRE AT IT!” The doges voice screams, not visible on the camera but they could be heard reloading their cross bow.
The shimmers move to behind the trees, as various people start shooting at it. Even the person recording takes out a bottle and throws them into the woods.
The glints disappear, the doge frantically looking around. Everyone else firing at random now in a frenzy. “ENOUGH PLAYING AROUND!” The doge puts away the crossbow, and calls forth a shadow axe. “COME FOR THY, DAEMON!”
As if predicted, the doge jumps to the side, swinging their axe in a circle. A loud banging sound is heard as it hits something, and the devils full body is shown in clear light, with the purple smog of curse stacks revealing it.
Darkness.
The doge takes back out the crossbow and aims at the things head while others took out their weapons, some still choosing to use their ranged weapons.
The thing sliced through the crowd easily with its darkheart. Someone with a nightreaper made the mistake of using dead, not being able to take more than two hits from the thing. Their chest and head fly out, and their weapon drops and slides to the side, nearly into the darkness.
In the centre of it, a stand was summoned. Star Platinum.
People are knocked about as the stand punches them. Three more people die from the wrath of Star Platinum. The camera capturing their limp bodies on the ground for a moment, as it turns to the other ones, the previous ones disappear.
The devil was walking casually forward, its stand following along. A somehow moving certified dummy jumps out roaring, swinging their built different arms at the demon. They withstood the punches from them being built different.
‘PRUNE JUICE’
At that moment, the dummy reaches towards the devil, and grabs into its chest, right as some butter haired person in sunglasses walks behind the demon, as it’s forced to face away from them.
They stab them in the back with a your eternal reward.
The dummy takes out a chunk of the things flesh. No heart to heart. Only heart to darkness. A mass of pure black was in their clutch, which they destroy.
The devil looked… unphased, despite the critical damage done to it.
“Hold on.” The doge says, stopping the camera man from going further. The camera pans down to their rebellion they had in their hand.
The doge walks up to the still devil. Its body was clear in the light. No features on the face. No features on the legs of arms. No features on the chest. Only darkness.
The doge pulls out a cross from their cross necklace, and began reciting a verse from the 19 dollar uncertified bible.
“Daemon, O ten hours. Return to thy’s realm from once thee came from.” They held up the cross close to the face of it. “Below our holy land. Below our petty conflicts of Certification. Below where the Sewer dwellers live. Below the Rebellions base…”
They lowered their cross, muttering to themselves. “It’s not working…” “Dude.” The certified built different dummy said, as yes it was quite offensive to recite something from uncertified in front of them. “IT’S NOT WORKING!” The doge yells at the group backing away from the thing.
The devil pulled out its elixir. Pouring its remnants down its face.
Six remained.
“PREPARE THYSELVES!” The doge pulls out their cross bow, aiming right again at its head.
EUGH
EHEHAHEHEAHAHAHAHAA
Immediately it strong left the person with the your eternal reward, flinging them into the darkness along with their weapon.
Five remained.
‘Peephew’ The arrow goes flying, but just that slight movement from the strong left offset their aim. The arrow missing. “OH GOD!” The camera man screams, and pans to the doge wordlessly reloading again.
The clattering of lightning rings and the doge gets struck by a volley. Flinging backwards onto the ground. The camera looks right back at the devil, and indeed it was launching some cursed ferryman’s javelins at them. Right at him in fact.
“AHHG!” The camera does a flip as the person behind gets flung back. The camera gets a moment to see the demon charging back for another, that would surely kill him if it landed.
The direction of the demon is redirected, the dummy reaching into its chest again, pulling out more of its body to crush. This didn’t stop the demon however. Even with its chest getting ripped at, it throws its next javelin at the dummy, throwing them back on the ground like the rest.
One last lightning javelin it prepared, and the dummy put back on its built different body just in time to withstand it. They get flipped again by the javelin, but they get no moment of rest.
The demons rushes up to them, their arms wrapping around the dummy on the ground, grasping them tightly. They scream loudly, unable to break free from its hold, as the thing drags them into the darkness.
Four remained.
Adrenaline was coursing through the team. The doge, camera man, someone with bacon on their head, and a…
The camera captures the last persons last moments, them firing a Moscow while standing still. Their legs clipped into the darkness, and it was as if they were sucked into it, as they disappeared.
Three remained.
The doge was visibly paranoid now, head and body looking around frantically, knowing the demon could just pick off any one of them at any moment. They had their crossbow out, aiming anywhere they think might be the devil.
‘Crk’
The sound of a single twig breaks behind them, and they bound forward, turning themselves around as well!
The demon reaches out for them, and barely misses, the doge shoots their arrow directly into its head. The demon only pauses for a brief moment before moving forward again. The doge lands on the ground, right by the night reaper.
The TV pauses, and the doge places their hand on their head, holding it there. That moment. That one moment was nearly their end. The stress of seeing that situation again was giving a mind splitting headache. That could’ve been it for them, right there. After ten whole seconds of silence from their headache, they unpause.
The doges body, being just connected to the night reaper, gave them its agility. They jump forward, kicking the night reaper into the abyss, and the devil is confused, grasping forward at nothing, and for this moment, is stunned. “ATTACK IT! NOW!” They howl, and the camera man obliges, getting out their rebellion, and doing a single combo against the thing.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!” The doge yells at the bacon hair, since they didn’t even try attacking it, and they just pull out a name tag.
Right as the thing recovers, it summons back its stand, Star Platinum. It gets a single good punch at the camera man, knocking him onto the ground, before the thing turns to the doge and bacon haired person.
The doge hears the ring of Star Platinum, and dodges out of the way, but the bacon hair stands still, while also trying to speak. “How to pl-“ They got silenced as they got strong lefted into the darkness, leaving their name tag on the ground.
Two remained.
The camera man gets up from the ground, and the doge fires another arrow into the devils head again after they pocket reloaded their crossbow.
‘PRUNE JUICE!’
The shotgun comes out again, and unfortunately for the camera man, he’s the closer one to the demon now. Bullets fly out and he groans as they fly into him. Three shots fired, and they drop to their knees. The demon nears him, and fires again.
Funny enough, the rng bullet spread caused them all to miss him, but it’s not like the demon is phased by this. Demonic ringing comes from the thing, and it grabs the camera man, making him holler just like the dummy did. Dropping the camera to ground as he’s brought into the darkness.
One remained.
The darkness, all around.
By now the shining arrow in the things head had despawn.
There was no way to tell where the thing was. There was no giveaways. No 19 dollar Fortnite gift cards.
There was however one thing left that could be of use.
The doges eyes darted to the nametag, right next to the darkness. The risk was high, and the only tell of the daemons arrival was the adrenaline coursing through them. They called out their shadow axe and bolted for the tag.

It stood still, confused with the happenings that had unfolded. “Come on!” The doge whimpered while swiftly scrawling the name “johnny” onto the nametag, and turned around lifting it over their head.

They brought it back up over their head, and back down on the devils. “WITH THY!”
The skull of the shadow cracked open, and disappeared. Its body falling into a ragdoll.
They dropped the fire axe to their side. The metal clanging on the concrete pathway. “Amen.” They huffed, and tossed their cross onto the corpse of the demon, its darkness shedding off of its body, and into the ground.
