Figured I'd post this warmup I did. It's what I do in preparation to doing commission work. The letters next to each will help illustrate my explanation of what I was doing.

A. Believe it or not I've never read or seen any tutorial on using brushes to achieve a realistic fur. And while messing around in the beginning of practice, this was the result. Quite surprising huh?

B. Going into something cartoony/derpy this came out to practice curves some.

C. Derp Ball

D. Toonish like hand gesture practice

E. Realism hand gesture practice

Nuff said, now I'm off to work on commissions!!
