Speaking of my lovely bodacious king, Rudra. Here's a page of him being gorgeous in his "Semi" form.

But yeah! He's usually in this form when he's a lot more comfortable because of where he grew up, a mixed community predominantly dominated by humans filled with anti-agren prejudice, he has some insecurities surrounding himself and his identity. Thus why you'll see him as an anthro most of the time, mainly to cope and blend in more for the convenience of the humans.

Despite this, Ru still likes humans, he had some human friends growing up that truly cared for him, but there's a lot of self hatred for himself a lot of the time since, well, living near a place that was once an empire- their prejudices still remain in some parts and he had to suffer for it.

Since moving from his hometown and into another, larger, mixed community that's a lot more inclusive, the tension has seemingly disappeared. However, in this semi-shift form he's often a bit awkward and needs a lot of reassurance from his partner still. He's growing slowly but he's trying.
