I started this a long time ago. I have almost all of it mapped out and ready to write. Unfortunately I ran out of gas after a few weeks and never got back to it. I do intend to finish it someday. Of course, I intend to do lots of things that may never get done. *sigh*

That was amazing, great story. The suspense was very good. I suspected but wasn't sure if she was truly alone, until Manikin showed up, and i was like "i fking knew it!".
The atmosphere reminded me of the movie Lunar (2009), where a guy works alone with a robot on the moon. The sense of loneliness and silence filled with robotic voices and mechanical noises.
Amazing work!

This and "The origin of species' are the two I wish most to get completed. As I stated to other readers, I had the whole thing mapped out and ready to go. Although, reading it now and thinking on what I had intended for it, I think I would do some major retooling. The conclusion, as structured 15+ years ago, seemed interesting to me. Now it feels cliche and silly. I'm sure I could come up with something better but only if I was still capable of concentrating on writing.
Which I currently am not.
Thank you for your comments. They are much appreciated.

Those two are very good, and maybe because of their scope and how much effort it took to make, it was more challenging to make a satisfying continuation i guess?
"The origin of species" have a big scope and an important role to fulfill in telling the story of the beginning of everything. This one is more of a 'slice of life' type of story, but it still has much potential, and the complexity of it tells you where planning to go far. I also read the "Winds of darkness", and while i haven't commented on it yet, i was amazed by the story. I see this one as something happening early in the same universe (i have tried to map all the stories i read until now in chronological order in my head :P) with a little less technology (still no FTL travel, that's why there are hibernation pods, maybe).
While i see how some of the stories have a cliche premise, i don't think that matters too much in comparison to the overall product. After reading many similar stories from other people, there is definitely something special in the way you build and describe your characters. The narrative is excellent, and it makes even a silly story with a cliche premise (talk about any furry's biggest dream in Fate Also Smiles XD) something compelling to read. Not that i find your stories cliche, most of the ones i read have a very original approach, but the ones that are still have so many qualities on it that it doesn't feel like it while reading.
That still not an excuse to any artist to not improve their work tho, but "not being good enough" is sometimes a barrier that doesn't allow many great creations to bless the minds of the public.
I really wish you good luck in getting your muse back. Making art takes time, you can't rush it :)
