Frustration due to the fact that mom has people come mow the lawn, and they have since mowed over a new thing the past three times they've been here. My pineapple[!!!!] sage, and now both my dogwoods. My saplings marked with poles and bright red ribbons. I'm peeved.
Razerz is taking one of her treelings for a walk, and look how eager it is! They however are quite a handful when they reach maturity, sitting on cars and dropped branches on bad gardeners.

Did you rescue this one from the arboretum? Thousands of trees are abandoned each year because people get young ones for Arbor Day and then realize that they can't deal with them as they get bigger. It's sad, but there is increasing awareness of the issue nowadays, thanks to the efforts of arborators and plant lovers everywhere.

I WENT TO AN EARTH DAY THING A YEAR AGO.
When I went there, I was like. wtf.
We went to each. They had hotdogs wrapped in aluminum foil. Sold soda in form of cans. Even had hot cocoa.. in.. Styrofoam cups.
And throughout all of this. I held onto my can. Trying, for the life of me, to find a recycling bin THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE.

Yeah they usually only try as hard as simple convenience allows, because like most events Earth Day is more an event to make money than educate. Still however its a bit more positive than most corporate sponsored events. That and I got trees. At least with Metal [foil and aluminum] both are easy and a "clean" recycle, unlike plastic.
