Hello, my name is Brandon or Dylan. Depends on who you are.
RyanRCV and I are doing this drive for one reason; to help my mother. About a week ago my car was taken in for repairs. It needed a full break system replacement which cost around $1700. While my mother was able to pay it, she took a major financial hit.
So, we are doing this drive to help her. Due to my leg’s condition I still can't work yet, so this was the next best option. So for those that want to donate I made a goal on Ko-fi, which will be linked here:
https://ko-fi.com/onefatzekrom/goal?g=0
Now for incentives, there are three. The first is that the top donator will be featured in the next round. Which new rounds begin on Fridays. The second incentive is this, My rito form is a perma-blob so whatever weight my Rito is by the end of the drive will be the new permanent weight. Then of course there are multipliers at each milestone.
Rounds close on Friday with new rounds beginning with the next post on Sunday, with Monday being a fall back in case something happens. Gives us time to calculate.
Now, what will be done with the money after the drive completes. To be fully transparent, all money up to the $900 goal will be sent to my mother. Anything beyond that, Ryan and I will be splitting 50/50. I’ll use some for taking my mom out somewhere for dinner as a thank you, then using it for bills and if enough hopefully replacing my old Quest 2. While I know Ryan has been saving hard to finally get his first gaming PC.
So enjoy our Hybrid drive, which has a story and art both wrapped in one!

Day 0 Story:
“Ryan!!! We got another leak down here!” Dylan shouts from one of the ground floor bathrooms.
Ryan sighs softly and walks into the bathroom, “Another one? That’s like the fourth one now. Not counting the couple pipes too.”
Dylan nods slowly, “Yea, another one that needs to be fixed. Alongside new room renovations, and a couple new beds since our old ones weren’t rated for Goron’s”
Ryan leans against the wall, “Yea, this place desperately needs some work. We just don’t have the rupees for this. Any ideas?”
“I mean, I can start picking up extra long guard shifts. Or maybe help with arrow production to help bring some extra flow in.” Dylan scratches the side of his head.
Ryan closes his eyes, thinking for a moment, “Oh! How about we do a potluck fundraiser! We can host it here and use it to help us raise some rupees to help with repairs?”
“You sure we have the food for that? Depending on how many show up it could be spendy.” Dylan rests against the counter.
“I mean, we’ve got plenty of food in the kitchen for it. We just gotta do a ton of cooking. Think you can help with that?” Ryan looks up at Dylan.
Dylan gives him a nod back, “Of course I can! You know I’ll always help out!”
Ryan pulls out a note pad, beginning to brain storm dishes with Dylan. They take into account the main ingredients they can source from around the Hebra region and what they will have to source from other regions too. Alongside cook time and how much can be made in bulk. By the end of the session the thought of the full menu and how many they will be cooking for. Easily enough to feed 100 people handsomely, though It will cost all the food they have in the kitchen and a bit extra.
The Next Day…
Ryan and Dylan stand up on a table to talk to everyone, welcoming everyone to the fundraiser and to enjoy their time here. The crowd happily cheers as the two hop off the table. Ryan immediately gets to work, networking with everyone who showed up while Dylan helps with serving the guests.
The food was strewn across many tables. Taking up two whole walls worth of space. Dylan thought to himself how this was far too much food. There was about 65 people here, meaning at least 35 people’s worth of food will got to waste. So he starts thinking on how to not let it go to waste, and it’s gonna be quite the filling plan…
