this is the crecent crest. a wicked cleaver of a shortsword and is easily capable of cleaving heads and limbs. the wickid guard is also a small blade, that is easily able to gut an opponent.

this is also the hook crest. this evil fisherman's shortsword is designed to put the fear into his foes, be they fish or man....OR BOTH! the hook based shape allows this to be a quick kill blade by disarming the opponent. its flat and not round like normal hooks, but sharp edges are all along the entire blade after only an inch from the hilt guard.
