These are a species of swan siren, the only ones that swim the seas and deep waters of the ocean. They greet passing ships, at times towering over them. They could sink them, but usually just avoid them. If you scare one away, you can see a peculiar rainbow in the sky after it takes off, even without rain. Rarely do they mistake ships for their kin and begin a fascinating dance around them. In fact, there are so few of them that they spend years looking for a mate in the ocean.
