The Headless Horseman - Hell Gate Society
Here's the spectral/paranormal ally
The headless horseman of the Sleepy Hollow Stories.
shown are two different types of sword (an executioner style flat blade and some more stylised version)

So i decided to give him some color
i like the way the spectral flame head turned out. wanted to give a nod to the jack-o-lantern heads to the boots and gloves are dark orange with some green trim (like pumpkins)
had the idea that he'd be a summonable ally and that Edgar may use him...still undecided though (additional note not in DA upload: most of my head-stories go with this, so yeah)
did knock up a bio/profile for him

Nationality: UNKNOWN
Species: Undead Spectre/being
Family: UNKNOWN
Alignment + Occupation: Formerly Evil - A deadly warrior / Killer from Sleepy Hollow
[Various alignments based on who once summoned him]
Good now - Contained and allied with Hell Gate Society
BIO:
In life he was a feared warrior, merciless and powerful, his reputation alone make his foes quiver in their boots…if any faced him in battle that it’d be a 1-in-a-million chance you’d be leaving alive…until one day he found himself in unfavourable circumstances and was incredibly felled, his head removed and his body now lifeless and cold. His severed and weapon were claimed and paraded around as both a prize and a symbol of power…normally that’d be where the story ends…but this is where his just began.
Somehow his body once again arose…a spectral flame taking the place of his head…the horseman was back and his sights were set on a place known as “Sleepy Hollow”, the place where his slayers resided, they took his head…now he was going to take theirs…though at the time he was limited to the darkness of the night to commit his crimes.
Several years had passed since the Sleepy hollow incidents…the outcome of which varies depending on who tells the tale…but the horseman was far from silent, many people had found out how to summon this spectral slayer and as such tended to use/abuse this power to rid themselves of “problems” with little to no trace linking back to them. Such activities were eventually noticed by the Hell Gate Society and with much time and effort the Horseman was eventually contained. Surprisingly the Horseman was somewhat relieved to be apprehended…once a glorious warrior of battle had been reduced to a spectral hitman…though he would still long for battle he was no longer a disposable assassin.
In the present day the Horseman resided in the depths on the Hell Gate building, it would often demand/request people to speak with…why? The horseman still seeks battle but wishes to find someone to become his “handler” …but it seems he’s picky…it’s not clear what he’s looking for, but chat and search he still does. He conversed with the likes of K’Harn and Hilde….but K’Harn was too stubborn for his liking…and Hilde didn’t want to be around him (possibly his past as a merciless solider reminds her too much of her painful past)…as for the head woman Morgana he likes her and frequently speaks to her…more like an equal or a “higher ranking leader” but not as a candidate for his handling (mostly as she commands from a far and is rarely in the battlefield).
Recently after discovering Hell Gate hired a new member the horseman yet again demanded an audience with him…and eventually got to converse with the newcomer Edgar Alexander. Whilst Edgar is uncomfortable around him he does his best to answer whatever questions the horseman has to ask…could the horseman have finally found the one he likes? (Addition not on OG DA upload: yes.)
