I've never expressed this idea on here, but I'm developing kind of an animation (emphasis on developing) that goes through sweeping style changes as characters (furries, gamers, bloggers, texters idk) interact with eachother. So this is very relevant to my interests :D

University of Maryland - American Studies - has a guy on faculty you might want to pursue in terms of academy. He is the art side of Cyberculture and performs on smartphones and does storytelling. It blends the internet with performance art. I hope to get my Doctoral studies there.
No it does. I almost quit writing my paper because I was writing in circles. I came to the conclusion that studying the internet from an ethnographic standpoint cant really be done because of varying perspectives of virtuality. in short: some people take internet more seriously than others.
And see, my big paper on Forum Community Behavior got me grant money. It is all about how you go about it. My personal project is developing Social Schema in a Globally linked Platform, with regards to social norms, and whom decides their contextual importance.
It also helps that I am very patient and very stubborn :D
