I compiled my own list of prompts for the 100 Theme Challenge once upon a time, and then promptly forgot all about it. I stumbled across the list in my documents the other day and rediscovered my enthusiasm :) This'll be a good excuse to put some of my sketches to use and stretch my creativity.
So here's the first, following the theme of Wings.
I've been drawing a lot of centaurs recently and wondering what I find so interesting about them. I'll be the first to admit I don't understand the fascination of many of the genres of furry. The psychology behind vore, macro, transformation, paw fetishes, what have you, is interesting, but not alluring to me personally. Yet I find half-creatures captivating. Centaurs, mermaids, harpies, I've always loved and envied. They occupy two spaces at once, are wholly part of two worlds at all times. They don't have to live vicariously through cars and boats and planes to get that rush of weightlessness.
They seem so free to me.
