This is Ora. Before you ask, YES, that's a female. Lutras (her species) aren't big on gender dymorphism (genders look the same). Leads to a lot of... amusing misunderstandings. She's in labor with her first pup...... or pups..... I'm not sure. Lutras live in small wooden huts that float on the water, usually filled with pillows, sheets, and other brightly-coloured things they can trade shells and pearls for. I tried to do my best on the b/g, but the walls do look a bit flat. I can't remember what the wall scrolls say...... I know I used japanese symbols..... meh.... they look cool.

Ahhh, I love my Lutras. Smart enough to make entire floating villages with only tribal-level tech, happy and innocent almost by default, and really affectionate... but they could be made to assassinate Ghandi himself for a piece of chocolate. =D Geck, you want to give one a belly-rub, offer her anything sweet. Living on seafood and seaweed for your whole life makes sweet food practically orgasmic.
