If you like this sort of hypermetafiction The Plot Device is a great watch. In fact the ending of this story immediately reminded me of this short film as the premise — "the characters in this video are actually sentient despite what the narrator/creator wants you to believe" — is nearly identical. Not sponsored but I genuinely believe it is a very neat watch.
