The once well respected homicide detective Evelyn Wight, fallen from grace. Badge and gun confiscated and unceremoniously dismissed from Prospera Metro Police Department because she made the mistake of thinking anyone had integrity in this dump of a city. Of course the PD had been taking hits and protecting corpo agents, why was she so surprised that first day? Now a year has passed, Evelyn had left Prospera for a while for a change of scenery. She left with a group of nomads out in the badlands to get away from the city life and make something of herself.

At first it was wonderful, the sound of sirens and gunfire while she slept was gone, instead replaced with people singing songs and telling stories while plotting out how they'll earn their next big score. As the time went on though, it became less fulfilling. The smuggling hustles were fine, they paid pretty well, they gave her a car, and gave her purpose. However it couldn't shake her need though. The need to help people, and protect them. She had to go back.

Her newfound tribe was understanding thankfully, and they let her go back to Prospera with her car and all. Of course she was always welcome back to the tribe should she need a home again. Evelyn left for her old home, somehow missing the noise and advertisements. It meant she could help again.

Evelyn opened her services as a private investigator, and as a mercenary when the jobs became a little sparse. It was tough at first being back, some people still knew her as the fallen from grace detective, but she showed the people that she cared about them, and wanted to help. Murders that the police didn't have time for, petty theft, and runs sticking it to any gangers or corps out there to make life harder for the people of her city.
