The Barrow Downs are one of the most fascinating places in Lord of the Rings for me. Acient, cursed Burial Grounds, fog flowing heavily over the ground, Names of old long forgotten engraved in the stones. A place so gloomy but also drenched in meaning is alluring to me.
Also inspired by the Evergloam Roalm of Nocturnal in Elder Scrolls Online. Just places that are lost, but show draces of Things long lost. So much to explore and uncover! Far from the noise of the world somewhere, where many have not set a foot in ages. Cold breezes, gentle storms and ghostly grave lights dacing around.
