Look! *points* Look! I got something done!
Holy cow, I actually got a ton of work done today. Two sets of inks, adjustments on Talon's ref sheet, one new sketch, and the values on this. Well, most of the values. <3 It feels good to not have art block for a day. I hope I feel the same way tomorrow! Ichigo is a great client, and I really have enjoyed this piece so far.
I've found that working in black and white helps dissolve some of the anxiety I feel about actually sitting and "coloring" a piece, so for now, that's the best thing I can do to keep myself working. Hopefully, once I get those ADD meds in... a minimum of two weeks or so, I'll be better.

I love greyscale/black and white art. I recently tried the Gradient Map thing in photoshop, the fun bit was the greyscale shading XD! I know that's how you do your colours. I can't beleive I had never tried it before D:! It achieves a nice contrasty/deep colour result :3 I love how you did his face in this :) Good luck with those meds <3 you're doing awesome and sorry I didn't answer your journal comment the toher day, I have been laid up and it's hard to do much on my blackberry x_x;
I may go back and re-tweak the colors today (that's the great thing about it, I can change the colors later to any damn thing I want!). I felt the final came out a little flat, at least in the face. I may just ramp up the levels on the b/w (another great thing about it). Don't feel bad about not answering every single journal comment, you silly billy. Please feel better!
