A devastating flash flood causes an egg to get washed away from its nest in the midst of a powerful storm, the waves carrying it away to unknown shores, unlikely to ever return where it came from, or even knowing what fate befell the rest of the nest.
As the storm settles, the egg flows down a small stream, a much calmer body of water, settling on a small rock formation. Some time later, a thirsty creature emerges from the grass, bewildered at what it sees before it. Where did this egg come from, does it still have a chance of hatching?
Sensing movement and warmth coming the egg, the raptor gently carries it back to a more secluded location, calling on its friend, a Phoenix, a magical creature known for its ties to the element of fire, to help keep it warm with its magic and warm coat, as the raptor makes a protective circle around the two. Now, safe and warm, it's just a matter of time until it hatches. Who knows what is contained within ?

What could this mystery egg possibly contain ??? Who knows, definitely NOT a character that you've already seen already, that would be silly! Why would I reveal a character before it's intended mystery lore teaser piece, psh, I'd never! That definitely didn't happen, and you should be ashamed if you think it did!

Okay fine, I admit it, I originally intended on keeping Misieth a secret until this piece was done, since it was planned from the moment I got her, but it took a while for me to get around to actually commissioning this piece, since it is a pretty big piece, and I wanted it done right. Unfortunately for me and my lore, I was too weak to resist using her in art before it was done so uh, just pretend you're super intrigued by what this egg could possibly contain, a mystery waiting to be solved! Please ; 3 ;
