Here is a machine a got a while ago for dirt cheap. Circa 2008. I plan on making it into a high-end Windows XP machine, since the hardware is so outdated. I figured a fitting name would be Blue for the time being.
Specs:
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600
GPU: EVGA 8800GTS
Mobo: MSI P6N SLI Platinum
8 gigs of DDR2
a random 500gb HDD that I robbed from another machine.
I plan on doing an SLI set up with another 8800GTS if I can find one as well as change out the drive to either an SSD or a larger HDD.
It also needs a fan controller lol, they all run directly off the power supply.
