Between 1919-1930, Antares and their Skorpii states struggled to advance into Columba. This was due to well placed defenses, constant ambushes, guerrilla warfare as well as the terrain. This was due to the Columban Mountain Range, which split the continent between north and south and was the highest mountain ranges in Forma.



In 1931, a new plan was made when the main general of the Columban Campaign was dismissed and replaced by a new one. He came up with a new plan. Operation Kataklysm.



The plan was to trap the Columban forces in the mountains and to advance into the nations heartlands. With the Columban army trapped in the mountains, the Antareans would rapidly advance through the Columban heartlands, capturing most of it withing 3 years. By 1933, the nation was in the brink of collapse. With most of its army trapped in the mountains, and most of their nation having fallen, Columba was about to collapse, if it wasn't for a Northern Centauran Offensive to try and free the trapped soldiers, the nation would have fallen sooner than 1936



This campaign was brutal, since by this point the Antareans begun to indiscriminately attack cities and constant raids on small villages in the frontlines, in some cases wiping those villages off the map. It was also this campaign which saw most action by the Anterean Air force and the most amount of flame troppers deployed. The Columban campaign would be the second bloodiest campaign in the entire Centauran Wars, only beaten by Riaa due to the sheer amount of massacres committed by the Anterean army as they advanced
