Was thinking about Alien Isolation the other day and thought "hey what if they add a water section in the sequel just like the scene from Alien Resurrection ?"
I don't know if it's doable or even fun to play in a game, but I think it could be a very tensed and scary moment. Also a good way to bring back the swimming xenomorph.
Me having thalassophobia, I know it'll be an interesting thing to experience and probably a good way to fight my fears.
Also yeah, it's so hot in here that I draw water related pieces to cope lol.

That turned out so good, it would have been a fun sequence. Love Alien isolation it was such a good atmospheric game wonder if we will ever get a sequel with the cliffhanger like that.
Subnautica is also great, but will definitely trigger that phobia a lot which always leave me with a unwell feeling in my gut the deeper you go 😅

I really adored Alien Isolation, they could definitely push the tension with water sections, especially when it would be focus around thalassophobia. That would actually be amazing! ^^

You draw the best Xenomorphs and Ive got to commission you someday to draw mine, including maybe a moment of him swimming.
And absolutely because unlike you the player, they can breath underwater I think and there might be a death scene animation similar to that one were that one girl in resurrection got grabbed by the foot and dragged off to who knows where while she screams and drowns.

For this piece I used photos from the Alien movie (1979), screenshots from Alien Isolation (especially for the legs). Finally I found some very good screenshots of the 3d model from the game with all the details I needed. Had to improvised sometimes because of all the variant you can find of the xenomorph. I tried to stay as faithful as possible to the original design.

Swimming xenomorphs are so underrated. I've seen a lot of people shitting on that scene in Ressurrection, but I think it is one of the more tense moments in the film. The whole "They can swim???" moment.

This makes me want to be in the deep water as a creature of some sort. This looks so lovely and soothing. I'm surprised I don't have thalassophobia but maybe I would if I was personally in the water myself. In video games it never bothered me much so I was always able to help friends in water games who do have it. Especially in games like Raft.
I love all of the details on the Xenomorph too. I feel like I could reach out and touch it. It just looks so real and tangible.
