Maybe you saw it coming maybe not, but I'm so glad I can finally show him to the world! Well technically he has already been revealed at the Furizon furry convention in Italy where he had his fursuiting debut, but it didn't leak until now... xD
Pakko has been expertly crafted by the amazing Taru Fursuits from Slowenia! They run an upcoming fursuit maker studio and certainly create amazing suits already! I think Pakko is the 11th suit they created (also including partials)!

Taru and her boyfriend John Feelings worked together to make him real! I'm so incredibly satisfied with the result and especially with how the beak and head turned out! I have been involved into the creation process during almost every step on the way and they were super great, discussing almost every detail! They were always friendly and open to changes. It is also the first avian fursuit head they created! It was a big challenge for me to find a maker that can do bird beaks properly, so it was a bit of a gamble choosing a studio that has never made one... But in the end it worked out very well!
Two years ago I created the fursuit reference for Pakko during my free time from scratch and for one year I have been searching for a good maker to make him real! Exactly one year ago I met Taru and John at the Furizon convention in Italy and was amazed by the build quality of their first few fursuits. I took a leap of faith and showed them my concept for Pakko and they seemed very eager to work on him. They agreed to make him to build their portfolio and as a challenge while not being open for public commissions yet.
Despite the huge length of the head of about 70cm (27 inch) from beak tip to ear tip, it is super light! The view is also surprisingly good, probably even better than with Thaz's fursuit. The long ears are a counterweight for the beak so the head is evenly balanced and sits well. Taru und John have been giving great care on it being comfortable and light and it shows! The fursuit also comes with LED lights for the eyes, a MASSIVE tail (2m, 6'7'' Long!), magnetic eyes and tongue, broad paws and chunky digi legs, all with the intricate patterns of my design. The beak is made out of foam and minky, so it is very soft to touch too! The recently released character sheet of Pakko is based on the fursuit so they are as similar as possible. So the creation process was as follows: Fursuit Reference => Fursuit => Character Reference ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/61227736/ ).
For me it was important that the suit will stand out with the saturated colors (like Thaz) and bird/gryphon appearance. I've always liked avian fursuits with (big) beaks and I am still amazed how rare they are. At Furizon I think it was only three out of two hundred, so I'm glad to add one more. Massive thanks again to Taru and John for their awesome work! I hope you all like it. <3
