I still think it's mostly DK's game, and Pauline is treated like Cappy. Sorta. Since you need someone to talk and some sorta support for the mute protagonist. I'm fine with that :P

I mean it was fine but those pinocchio-conciousness-like characters I feel they distract from the main characters and became more important. I guess the only one I liked was Midna from Twilight princess because she was a deuteoragonist. I feel like Pauline here is more important and DK will be the sidekick.

Or perhaps you are right, we'll see! I'll definitely grab a copy when it comes out, the game looks great, I actually look at it as a kind of Mario Odyssey successor. I feel like DK himself was never in for a huge plot, I mean, all he wants is bananas? So they threw in Pauline as a sidekick and a supporter. For now I am fine with that, we'll see if she's annoying when the game actually comes out.
Oh and the amiibo - I love it I need it I need it I need it <3
