My first ever sculpy sculpture (done before the cassowary [http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6128223]). Done of a species of my favorite deer genera, Muntjacs.
I finished this guy December 2007. I still have yet to paint him as he sits on my shelf, the proud little buck he is.
I'm scared to paint him to be honest. I'm not sure if I want to do realistic colors or give him a single-color metal finish.

Holy typos Batman! Let's try this again!
It's very nice to sculpt with. It's stiff enough to keep it's shape, but pliable enough to work with. I put an armature underneath (wire and aluminum foil) to add strength and you can bake delicate parts independently and stick them on (like spikes and the like) and bake again with the rest of the sculpture. Sometimes you get little "clay balls" when putting in details, but I just use turpenoid and a brush to smooth those away.
Hope this helps!
