the being an asshole part is because there was no need for you to insult his design on someones art. if you have a problem with it then talk to me on a picture of my reference or toss me a note. its rude to say that on someone elses page. you can not like it, thats fine with me as long as you dont bother other people about it like you just did.

dissing "sparkle furs" is just a way of saying "i have no originality to come up with something this sweet looking, so to make myself feel better ill tear it down"

Yeah, some sparklefurs can get really annoying and generic. like "omg rainbows here for no reason" but I really liked this one since the colors and markings actually have meaning behind them. Alot just make their sparklefurs all colorful just cuz it looks "cool."
