Back in my Army days there was an Iltis, think jeep, that wouldn't start. They look it over, think it over, can't find anything. The chaplain, a light hearted guy, walks over, lays hands on the vehicle and makes the key turn motion with his hand.

I confirm this also works for machines in industry, I was fixing old italian machine this way for like five years before it was finally decommissioned. Coworker tried to check everything, clean contacts, connector by connector, spent whole day on it with no success. I just kicked electrical cabinet cover at right place and suddenly it worked for another year :)
