Maybe, but since Tailmon was more on screen than Plotmon, there weren't much (if any) interactions between Patamon and Plotmon, at least in Adventure.
In Frontier Patamon and Plotmon interacted a few episodes before the series finale.
But Tailmon for is is also a good match for our lil ol' Pata XD
