Inspired by a reason event!

So… on the COS campaign I'm playing, we’re at level 7 and we found the icon of the ravenkind. The festival of Valaki is coming up, and before that, we decide to fuck around the tound a lil bit for fun. We found a vampire spawn nest inside a coffin maker house, we decide to end that shit asap by board up the house and burn it, one of the vampire escape and run to a noble lady house, we pursuit and found out that she has a cult that worship Stradh, so the we end that shit too.
Then on the day of the festival, Strahd came to intimidate us and the town, then, out of nowhere, an old vampire hunter disguised as an elf named Rictavio riding on an armored sabertooth jumped in to duke it out with Strahd. Big man summons his minion, which is 3d8 amount of wolves…the dm rolls a 4…on a 3d8…yep, and then the druid sweeps them up in a storm. So naturally, we decide to help out Rictavio, and I kid you not, we crit 3 times on the first turn, while Strahd try to charm me and fails, then misses 2 out of 3 of his legendary action attack…and that strain of luck continues for the 3 rounds, good roll on us and bad roll on him. We activate the Icon of the Ravenkind for sunlight and burn him alive while our druid turns into a snake and constricts him. Like, he can’t do shit and burn up his legendary resistance real quick.
So in the end, the vampire spawn and cultist that were supposed to be helping him…is not there, coz we got rid of that. The wolves, not only were they few, but the druid also did a sleet storm to trap them too. Overall, Stradh died in sunlight and was killed in the middle of the town… and we were just level 7.
My DM was flabbergasted at how well that went, like, everything was a perfect setup for his demise.
Now, this is my first COS playthrough, so I can’t say…But I don’t think it’s supposed to end like this lol, well, maybe I'm gonna give it another round sometime.
