I imagine her daily life (outside of being stuck on some desert planet) has gotten quite a bit less convenient. Hard to fit places when you're nine feet tall after all! Probably hard to find outfits too, I envision her having to shop at places meant for larger species to fina anything her size. Her name isn't pilot per se, technically she still doesn't have a name but I'm so used to calling her pilot at this point any actual name sounds weird.
Getting smaller would be much harder than getting bigger (gotta figure out which cells to leave behind after all since they don't change size) and would probably require a ton of unethical/illegal experimentation to do successfully. She's pretty much stuck at the size she is now!
