Absolutely superb. The forest feels viscerally real, what with the broken branches, deadwood, and the trunks of the conifers vanishing off into the misty distance. I was so taken with the magical beauty of it all that I was oblivious the werewolf lurking there - just as the highlighted fawn is oblivious to its coming fate. Well played, kind artist, well played!

Oh wow that's a stunning painting! I love how the focus is almost solely on the deer, I didn't even notice the werewolf until I started skimming over the rest of the painting.
