Cousin of Box
For the longest time, Jim was the only family to Box. Her parents and his were nowhere to be seen so he became like a big brother to her.
One day, he heard rumors of a crew taking on new members and Box told him to go for it. He hesitated, looking back at her, and told her that he would find her again, even if she got a name while he was gone.
The years on the ship changed him, making him change his box accessories and mask to protogen accessories and mask, but he still keeps his boxes stored in a safe and dry place in honor of his cousin. The crew named him Jim once they learned that he didn't have a name, and his life changed forever.
He traveled to different realms with the crew, learning more about the world he only ever heard about. Jim found a mother and father like figure, finally feeling like he belongs but it couldn't fill the hole in his heart. An accident made him lose all his memories of Box, only to regain them when he sees a galaxy that matches her hair.
He goes back to his home planet to search for his cousin, only to learn that she is gone. He searched for a few years before finding her again, only to also get new sisters/cousins from their reunion.
Sassy, stubborn Boxin that has a soft spot for family and friends.
