You should check out ArtFight in July! Great way to get practice and YOU get to pick out the characters you want to draw from among millions! Also a good chance to get something in return as well, so it's a win-win :)

i was actually doing this because i didn't feel comfortable doing artfight. I don't want to receive an artwork that is amazing, and feel like i can't really return the favor, or i end up with a target who is underwhelmed/disappointed that i got assigned to them, and now they "feel obligated" to do something for me because it's "in the spirit of art fight"

just don't feel like my art is up to par with what people are expecting. it's also just fun to draw things for others with no expectation of a return. Art fight is a great event for artist, but i would much rather provide art for everyone, rather than just other artist. Why shouldn't everyone have a little fun, yaknow?

Spreading joy and entertaining others is always fun.

The spirit of Artfight is that you give and get art from people of all abilities! The idea isn't to draw for someone to get something back from them, it's to draw because you enjoy their character and want to have fun! Or if you want to win haha. You are also not "assigned" to anyone, it is fully up to each player if they want to attack or revenge someone. You should never feel guilty for getting art and you should never feel like your art isn't good enough for someone else, because it is! If you work hard on it, spend time and effort on it, and put your love into it, it's great work even if you don't think others would think so! Your stuff is really cute and I think you're being far too harsh on yourself :) That being said, it's very admirable that you'd love to simply give others a chance for art. It's awesome that you help others like that, especially since so many folks can't afford art or can't get it for one reason or the other. Even if you don't think you would enjoy Artfight, you should check out Art or Treat this year! Sounds like it'd be up your alley :) I really do hope you find lots of fun stuff to draw and that you can continue to enjoy doing art! ❤️

Like most things, a few bad apples spoils the batch. art fight is a great event, and i like the idea of it, Just paranoia, and seeing bad actors really pushing me away from joining.

Props to everyone who dose participate, and i hope everyone can have fun. i know i'll enjoy doing art for everyone who opted to participate in getting their Oc's drawn; i also hope everyone can enjoy their Oc's aswell.

I'll try to remember to check out "Art or treat", first time hearing of it, so thank you for the info. (just saw you had a journal related to it on your account, i'll check it out in the morning to see what art or treat is.)

Yeah. Her backstory is kinda messed up. But after her separation (in her still brainwashed state), how she views the world is her own...a mixture of latent memories of her true self and the monsters that were the "heroes". Don't worry, karma exists and their deeds come back to bite them. After all... "Everything is Trash!"
