A big part comes from you legitimately working with Snorlax's qualities... a simple design, but with a prominen theme that plays to your strengths. You gave him a mo realistic fat anatomy, but in a way that still respects how Snorlax are originally design. That wi the fur on his head also make him legitimately cuddly.

I also find interesting how minimal you make Doban. He technically has two small eyebrows, bu the fur on his head covers one of them. Te has only one shoulder pad, but, not only does hi scarf add symmetry, but he being a fat, bulky mon means that he already has natural defence.
