.....there ended a life, like billions of others before.

A scene from the backstory of my characters... A very sad one.
I...felt like it.

The cat-like person and the bird-like person, they both lost their parents when they were very young. One's died, the other one's went away and left him behind for unknown reasons. They found each other by chance and tried to survive alone together.
They managed that pretty well, became very good friends, even lovers, and got close to their middle ages, though the bird-like person got a cruel, unknown desease and sadly died right before the other one without him being able to do anything.

He was then all alone on that planet, it seemed, and he wandered off into the unknown, scarred from multiple traumatic events in his life, trying to find something or someone he can live for again.

He never found such a thing and ended up dying alone in the snow.
But that wasn't the end of their stories....
