Last month I made the mistake of sharing my commissioned CaseOh fan art in his subreddit. The comments I received were horrendous, smearing me as a "creep." What devastated me more, however, was to see acquaintances and one of my own friends agree with these redditors. If anyone helped me through my worst bout of depression to date, however, it was my brother and my mentor. Other friends comforted me and explained Reddit is just unfriendly in general. I also distracted myself with marching in a Pride parade and No Kings protest, as well as phonebanking for primary elections.

I could've asked  mursula to cover CaseOh's gut in retrospect, certainly, but he listened to all of my concerns and kept everything as clean as possible. If anyone insists I'm "weird" for commissioning this, then I encourage them to see just how "normal" CaseOh's fanbase is about his weight, appetite, etc. The situation made me delete the artwork from the subreddit in shame, as well as Fur Affinity. But thanks to my brother, friends, and  mursula, I'm reposting it here because why should I feel ashamed?
