This is my original species the "Borealis", a stoat-like alien creature that visits earth during the Aurora Borealis/Australis. (aka the Nothern lights/southern)

Bits of lore:
Elusive and communicates via harmonious humming and chimes. (Also does make noises similar to brush tail possum). Loves cold conditions and enjoys a good roll in the snow, deeper the better. Wayyy much larger than their earth-comparison, they can float/fly despite lack of visible wings and feature retractable fangs. Though their coat can appear brown they are really colours we can't visualize on our spectrum so naturally under different lighting they appear as different hues. Additionally are bioluminescent.

They have a role in a story I've been working on for some years now and sometime in the future will have more info to share. I really love this design so much, the dark face inspired by my own little sealpoint ragdoll kitty. :D


This was also originally inspired by the song "Aurora Borealis" from Lemon Demon. Love that song so much and the background synth is what I would say is the Borealis call.
