Let's change the setting a little with this chapter.
Most of the experiments shown in these pages take place in a specific environment: the Manor estate. Sometimes they take place in the botanical or zoological gardens, rarely in the living rooms, sometimes in the library... But more often than not, they take place in the laboratory. Sometimes, however, I leave the laboratory to carry out experiments in the field.
This is the case with this specimen.
The various research projects carried out on cotton gum (NSFW) have produced some interesting results. It was possible to create a more powerful essence, but at the expense of the specimen's flesh.
This surprised the specimen at first, but it seems that he adapted very quickly to this situation, even finding a form of sadistic pleasure in his new state.
Surprisingly, the essence infused into the test subject now enables him to transmit this new state of matter. Probably a remnant of transmutation magic that gives him this ability.
This field experiment was therefore very instructive. And this specimen seems dedicated to being much more than a killer whale.

The reactions of the experimental subjects are more natural when the metamorphosis takes place in a known environment. The laboratory is sometimes too neutral or strange a place for this. This can be useful when the subject does not need to continue to evolve in its environment, like most creatures in a zoo.

According to the latest observations, no. The hippopotamus-like victim has turned into a latex balloon but contains no trace of life or magic. The remains are identical to those of an exploded beach ball.
Further research with the orca specimen ( daikai ) testing his new abilities might perhaps yield a slime-latex result for its victims.
