Summer solstice as been and gone and old gods remembered.
Based on this image I saw at the Roman baths (In...Bath! https://64.media.tumblr.com/a289c6b.....6418da0f2f.jpg ) and is sometimes attributed as Roman god Sol Invictus (or some say it could even be the Roman water god Oceanus as it was in a bath house) but some think it may be a Celtic sun god (either Belenus or Lugh). I think it's an amalgamation of all of them, and here they are soaking the praise from the stone in the warmth of the sun.
