Well, lucky he and his wife are always up to open up the bedroom. Jokes aside, Lupin and Amyr are very much in love and that lead to him and his wife Amira ending up marrying him too (although the running gag that Amyr never gets to do Amira where it counts does make the latter's relationship very Master-Pet and, hey, does it for me).
