Xerneas is filling up with lots of water in the forest!
This one was a bit of a disaster, I almost scraped it altogether. The construction paper was a dark purple, so the light colours are muted. The perspective on the back was horrid in the original, so even though I had already lined it with pen, I redid the back, and added a tail, and covered up the original line with wettened pastels.. The new back looks so much better (but is still better in the digital version. There were also markings all over the place (which I put in pen for this one, because pencil was barely visible on this paper. Some arrows on the hors to indicate to shorten them, and some words above that back saying to fix the perspective issues, and a random marker spot in the middle of the body, all of which I covered in pastels.
I think I somewhat saved this one, and in a certain way, kind of fun to try and figure out how to fix it.

To this very day, and I'm going to be truly, Truly honest Bludrak....Your drawing/Your take on a body inflated/blueberry inflated Xerneas, is one of my top favorite drawings of all time, along with the Salazzle and Lugia ones. The massive bloated, puffed up limbs, the neck and her entire body formed into this semi-spherically thick oval/orb shape, her neck swollen so much that her head is the only thing not swollen and is very slightly sinking into her own inflated body, her skin features and fur showing the curvature, going along with the swelling, and sticking out like a sore thumb for others to touch or feel, her tail drooping/resting in the air like nothing, her antlers poking out of her inflated body, and her facial reaction makes it look like she's been through this many times, and does not mind it at all. To this very day it's not wonder it's in my blueberry inflation image collection, and seeing you have this original drawing goes to show the changes between the digital version and the original traditional version.
However, I do want to give you a tip since this was something I encountered too when I was drawing my cartoon intro for my own cartoon that never got off the ground in May/June 2011. And that's this...If you wish for your drawings to pop out, fine tip or normal tip sharpies are the way to go. And also, sharpies can help cover messes you've made on this drawing, which sharpies tend to be more saturated in color than coloring pens and drawing pens plus pencils combined. So if you need something to pop out, a black colored sharpie should do the trick. I'm sure you can find fine tip or ultra tip sharpie utensils if you know where to look.

I am glad you like the Xerneas inflation so much. I have a sequence of Xerneas inflating in the works (it will take me a ling time to finish).
I do have a piece made with sharpies. I like trying different mediums. Right now, I don't have a good colour range with sharpies, and don't know how to shade. I have a good colour range with crayons and colour pencils right now. I also have a decent amount of pastels, but I am just practicing the two right now.

Certainly do.

8O....X33...No Way Bludrak!! You're too much!!....Amazing!!...Again, I can't wait to see how that turns out (considering how much I love your previous sequences, it would be amazing to see how well that turns out in the future). Again, not something that I wouldn't have to worry about waiting for a while, but if you end up completing it, it would be one of my top favorites much like your Salazzle one back in the day. But that's yet to be seen.
Well, the only reason I mentioned sharpies (specifically the black sharpie) was to trace it over your pencil lines (not use the sharpies to color in the work, just using it to make the character's body pop from the page I would say or stand out a bit to make the user look at the character you wish to showcase stand out more in traditional drawings).
There are multiple sharpie sets you can buy, though they are quite expensive if you ask me and not cheap to get them on sale very often. But I just thought if you used a black sharpie to outline your character once you finished the drawing, it would help the character stand out a bit is all I'm saying. Sorry for the confusion.
