Had an incredible storm today. Happened at the perfect time and with the perfect amount of cloud cover to turn everything this beautiful golden yellow. My only regret was not getting this shot moments earlier as I saw the sun shining through and reflecting off the road.

I have always LOVED the rain (Except, ya know, when I was working in it, or driving my motorcycle into/through it!). That feeling in the air, the smell of impending storm, then enjoying the tempest itself (Either snuggled down at the campsite or in the comfort of a dwelling, preferably sipping on a chosen beverage and maybe snacking on some good fewds?!), and then that 'Scent' after?!
When traveling throughout the Great SouthWest, I knew to be VERY AWARE of sudden rainstorms, esp. if camping/hiking in any canyon (A storm miles away can cause a flash flood), but damned if that 'After-scent' wasn't so nice! The damp ground, the foliage, it really does a number on the senses.
Now, for those idiotic road signs that indicate 'Slippery when wet'!? Well, NO SH*T, SHERLOCK! LOL
Still, lovely piccie! Now I haz Denver's "Country Road, take me home" rattling around inside my (Mostly vacant) brain pan!
Thank you!
