Filling with Wisdom

Part 2

Not long after Sage had burst out of his mountain home, he began to hear something else outside of the loud grumbling and gurgling of his belly. As the dragon continued growing in size, the mountain beneath shrank more and more, until finally the large rock began to crumble apart. Sages eyes went wide as he felt his whole body began to shift and topple over, as the fat dragon pile began to roll down the mountain. His food tome finally got dislodged out of one of his rolls and was sent flying. He quickly picked up speed and flattened everything in his way: trees, smaller rocks, bigger rocks, small shacks and miscellaneous things until he began to reach the bottom of his mountain.

Not far from the base of the mountain sat a lovely little beach with a lighthouse, along with a large factory with a dock. The factory’s primary product that it made was syrup, which on occasion Sage would visit for a small (huge) portion of for himself in return for not melting the place that had been encroaching on his mountain. Little did they know tho, that Sage would be making a surprise visit. Sage continued his rolling descent down the mountain, until finally he reached the bottom. He crashed through part of the factory and flattened the docks entirely until coming to rest on his back on the beach. Thankfully the factory was closed for the day, so no one had been hurt, but the machinery had been completely thrown out of wack. Syrup started being produced at an exponential rate, to the point where it began spraying out of a huge pipe that had been completely uprooted after Sage had rolled through. So much syrup was being sprayed into the ocean to the point where it was becoming more of an ocean of syrup than anything else.

Sage looked on upside down before him as he saw the water turned from a deep blue to a tantalizing amber color. He licked his chops and smacked his belly as an idea began growing in his mind. The ripples of fat and pudge across his body helped him think of a brilliant idea. After a lot of magical effort, he was able to flip himself back upright. He peered inside of the blown out factory and made sure the machinery was turned on at high gear. His belly could not stop grumbling as he laid his eyes on the evergrowing ocean of syrup before him. It gurgled and rumbled with anticipation as Sage finally began his plan. He summoned another hose and had it carried over to the water until he clamped his maw shut on the other end of it. He finally enchanted the hose with a spell and the syrup began pouring into his maw. The syrup itself was a bit saltier than usual, but it was delicious. Sage loved it, and so did his belly as he began growing once more. His whole body began growing even more as the rich syrup began packing on the pounds almost immediately. His legs grew heavier still and his claws sank deeper into his folds as he continued gulping down the syrupy goodness, but it just wasn’t enough. His belly growled and gurgled louder as it demanded more, so he used the parts from the factory to make more hoses for him to drink even more of the syrupy goodness. After adding 3 more hoses to his mouth, the syrup flow was unstoppable. Just about as soon as the ocean water turned to syrup it was gulped up by the greedy blobby glutton of a dragon. Soon the entire world would know of Sages splendor as he continued gulping down the oceans of syrup.
