Thank you so much! I'm very happy you like the palette :D (the purple started as "hm, let me see how a rat looks when draw with this random marker", and, poof!, here is Ground Pear! It was by chance and very fortunate.)
And yeah the animal world is very diverse, it doesn't cease to amaze me how many shapes and behaviors and patterns and textures. I'm glad you appreciate it too :D

Cool! I had similar experience with a color choice for an oc. I love those ''Eureka!'' moments we have in our art journey. Maybe doesn't happen often but when it does it is an innately satisfying and motivational boost.
I'm glad to see rarely seen creatures in furry fandom get more light. Especially Central and South American animals like tapirs [baby tapirs are sooooo cute!], capybaras, different types of anteaters, tamanduas, so many!
