This is FanArt in a scene from a game called, "The Forgotten Island" made by FoxTailTale Studios (I'm just going to forewarn people who look this game up, it is NSFW, if you are not an adult, do NOT play this game, it is meant for adults and is very easily 18+, the characters belong to FoxTailTale Studios, they are not my own characters).

The game itself tells a story about a sailor called Eirik, (The human on the left) who washes up on the shores of a mysterious island hidden by fog, his ship is crashed, and he finds himself encountering not only humans, but other inhabitants who call themselves "Furries". Unbeknownst to him however, there is bad blood between the two races, a war happened long ago which led to them being hostile towards each other, but Eirik, being a rather charismatic young man, ends up entering the den of a humanoid Vixen by the name of Marigold (The fox furry shown on the right). Marigold is an alchemist, and is shocked he even got through the fog for it was an ancient magic that kept outsiders out, but his sincerity on respecting her and not immediately trying to attack her, makes her believe he is not from the island, and they quickly become acquaintances and neighbors.

This artwork depicts a scene where she explains to him that she is the last of her species, but wishes to continue researching on how she could cure the maladies that plague other furries on this island that is not related to humans, and asks him for his help on her quest.
